Working away at sea as a crew member or seaman of any rank, Captain
to Cadet, Chief Engineer to Engine Room Wiper, Chief Steward to Laundryman,
we all know how difficult keeping in contact and communicating with
shipmates, friends, colleagues and family can be.
As crew, we work together for months, sign off, and then possibly
not see each other again for months or even years, and still remain
in the same company. Should one of us change companies or leave the
sea altogether, it is far too easy to lose contact completely.
Our extraordinary life at sea has inherent communication problems
at professional, social and personal levels. Crew2Crew has designed
